How it works

Four questions every curated deal should be able to answer.

Where the money went, who was allowed to sell it, which domains deserve trust and where the ads really ran. An Odyns™ audit answers all four, with evidence drawn from real spend.

01Where did the money actually go?

One true picture of spend, across every SSP.

Each SSP only shows its own slice of a deal. We bring them together into a single, reconciled view, so everyone at the table is working from the same numbers.

  • The same publisher compared across every route that sold it
  • Totals that match your delivery data exactly
  • Clarity on how much of the spend each SSP really saw

02Was everyone allowed to sell it?

Know which sellers the publisher actually approved.

Every route in the delivery is checked against what the publisher itself has declared. The result is a clear outcome for each one, including the routes that simply can't be confirmed.

  • Unauthorised routes identified, with the evidence behind them
  • Unverifiable supply reported on its own, never passed as clean
  • Nothing flagged as a violation without proof

03Which domains can I trust?

An integrity score for the domains that carry your spend.

Every domain with enough evidence gets a Path Score from 0 to 100, built from signals we measure directly. Where the evidence is too thin, we hold back rather than guess.

  • A single score to compare domains and deals
  • Scores issued only where the data supports them
  • Quality and performance kept separate, so neither hides the other
Domains scored · 17,664 in the campaignReal audit data

2,010

domains had enough evidence to score. Together they carried the large majority of spend.

Each square is 1% of the domains in the campaign. The rest were held back as unrated rather than guessed.

04Did the ads run where you paid for?

Rendered, not assumed.

We look at the real pages behind your delivery to confirm a genuine video player was there, and that the format that ran is the format that was sold.

  • Confirmation that premium video was really premium video
  • Format mismatches brought to the surface
  • CTV and app inventory handled on its own terms

Odyns™ Intelligence

Every finding becomes a dollar figure, and a next step.

The four answers above feed one intelligence layer that sizes the money at risk in every deal and shows what can be done about it.

  1. 01

    Detect

Finds unauthorised sellers, format mismatches, price gaps and impossible reporting across every route in a deal.

  2. 02

    Quantify

Puts a dollar figure on every finding, counting each dollar once, so the total is never inflated.

  3. 03

    Prioritise

Ranks deals and domains by the money involved, so teams fix what matters first.

  4. 04

    Act

Shows what can be rerouted to clean routes on the same inventory, which price gaps can be recovered and what should be removed.

Clear outcomes

An answer for every route, including the ones that can't be confirmed.

Pass or fail tools force an answer. We don't. When the evidence isn't there, we say so, so a gap in the data is never mistaken for clean supply or for fraud.

Questions

Common questions, straight answers.

What is Odyns™?

Odyns™ is an independent audit service for curated online video (OLV) and connected TV (CTV) supply. It checks that the supply behind curated deals and PMPs was authorised by the publisher, ran in a genuine environment and was fairly priced across every SSP that sold it, and it puts a dollar figure on money at risk.

How is Odyns™ different from verification vendors like DV or IAS?

Verification vendors tell you whether an ad was seen and brand safe. Odyns™ answers a different question: whether the supply itself was real, authorised and fairly priced. It works alongside attention and brand-safety tools rather than replacing them.

Who is Odyns™ for?

Curators who want to prove their deals are clean, agencies who need evidence for clients, and brands who want to check the premium they pay for curated supply.

Do I need to install anything or give platform access?

No. Odyns™ works from the delivery exports your SSPs already provide. There are no tags, no pixels and no platform access, and every audit is reviewed by a specialist.

What does an Odyns™ audit typically find?

Across the 10 largest deals in two real audits, Odyns™ identified $20,702 of money at risk out of $894,009 audited, mostly price gaps between seller seats, plus format mismatches and unauthorised sellers. It also reported $502,874 that couldn't be verified either way, mostly CTV.

What does money at risk mean?

Money at risk is spend with hard evidence of a problem, such as an unauthorised seller, a format that didn't match the sale or a price gap for the same inventory. Each dollar is counted once. Spend that can't be verified is reported separately and never added to it.
